DIY DJ Hamster's Children's Party

Looking for a children's disco party, without the cost of hiring an entertainer?! Simply do it yourself!​

Before starting DIY Parties (and also still alongside!) we've been organising and running Children's Disco parties under the 'DJ Hamster' brand for over 15 years, and so have lots of experience which we can pass on to help you to run your own party!

 

Based on a typical 2 hour children's disco from DJ Hamster, we've put together a package to give you games, prizes, personalised certificates, medals, stickers, party dances, music, and so much more!

You simply have to connect your own device to play back music (you can use our supplied playlists if you like!) - and follow our simple instructions to run each game & activity! We also provide an interactive PowerPoint slideshow, which you can run to play in our pre-recorded voiceovers & music explaining every game and activity!

 

We typically recommend this as an add on to our DIY Disco package, to give you the sound system and lights for the party atmosphere, but can also offer standalone packages at a reduced price, and lots of custom systems to suit your requirements.

 

If you pick up everything from us beforehand at IP1 5EQ & return it to us after the party - our standard package (including the standard DIY Disco) starts at just £50 per event, including all of the following:

• Pre-recorded voice clips you can play in to introduce each game or party dance, provided on an interactive PowerPoint which you can easily run

• Instruction guides and equipment required for at least 8 party games

  • Lots of choices available including all of our favourites!

  • You'll receive our voiceovers introducing and running each game as above, but also an optional 'script' for each one which you can read out instead, with instructions to make sure everyone knows how to play, as well as additional tips and tricks for you

• Personalised certificates for winners & runners up of every game​​

• Medals for every winner

• A range of prizes for winners & runners up to choose from

  • We'll supply significantly more prizes than required to give recipients a good choice, with the remaining prizes (once each winner/runner up have selected theirs) all to be returned to us​

• Certificate, prize & medal for the birthday child

• Links to playlists with DJ Hamster's go-to music for parties, as well as party dances and games.

• Full PA system including: 

  • 1x Audio Mixer (with options for connecting your music device via bluetooth or cable)

  • 2x Wireless Handheld Microphone

  • 2x 1000w peak active speakers & stands

  • All required cables

• Full Lighting & Effects setup including:​

  • 2x Neo-Neon PartyBar lights (4x LED pars on each stand for throwing lots of light onto your dance floor)​

  • 4x 'Disco Dome' lights (great for throwing dots of coloured light everywhere!)

  • 1x Small Smoke Machine with fluid (check with your venue that you're allowed to use this!)

• Complete user guide with instructions on setting up and using the equipment, tips for a perfect party & links to example playlists (see below!)
